It is a 50 square meters room, very bright with large bays onto the garden and the terrace. Its stone walls, its oak beams, its ‘welcoming’ sofas and its XXL fireplace insert all make it very cosy to relax or to read peacefully. Breakfasts are served here as is the Host table.
La Cave Margot is nested in greenery on more than a hectare of land. It is solely surrounded by woods, fields and meadows. During summertime, you can just chill out on the hammocks under the firs (brought from South America) or walk to the vegetable garden smelling the strawberries and the lavenders. During season, come and pick your own plums, apples, figs, quinces, nuts or mushrooms ! All delights served at the host table consist of our home-grown fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden.
Behind the house you can climb up onto the terrace hillsides to reach the woods overlooking the property.
The caves and the outside baker’s oven represent the signs of former troglodyte occupation.
On the terrace, near the lush flower beds, you will find deckchairs, parasols and a garden salon.
As far as we are concerned, we have often realized how difficult it was to find the right place for ourselves and our 3 children when looking for a holiday resort ; this is the reason why we have chosen to make our place comfortable and enjoyable for both parents and children.
The important land area has allowed us to set up a few outdoor structures for young children, such as a zip wire, XL trampoline, football goals, a swing set, a sandbox not to mention the numerous walks and rides in our neighborhood. We can even lend you bikes. Playing tennis may be arranged at the local tennis club.
Last but not least, babysitting can be planned for parents who would decide for an outing in town. And DVD players in the two suites can be useful for the children as for the parents.
