One to add to our top five(getting crowded)

My wife and me stayed 3 nights at the 'La Cave Margot' second half sept 2014 and were fond of the place. The location 'off the beaten track' is very nice, peaceful and tucked away between fields and woods. In the village of Lunay sings are directing you the right place, once there suggest to register the place in your GPS since if arriving from the other side it might be difficult to find. We were welcomed very nicely by the hosts Nathalie and Nicolas who are living in the house together with their 3 children. The renovated house is rather large with a nice garden in front and looks really good. Our room (on the first floor, with external staircase) was very nice, well decorated, very spacious and very well equiped (nice bed, enough room for clothes, television, wifi, nice shower cabin and a small fridge with cold drinks, against reasonable payment, is available). In the morning we got a well prepared breakfast and Nathalie makes the effort of preparing something extra apart from the traditional bread and croissants and jams, a very good start of the day. Although the loctation is perfect for those who are looking for some peace its is a bit distant to the available restaurants (the closest at Troo, is a 15 min drive). The area is glowing, ok for biking, but you have to be used to some 'hill-work'. For exploring some of the Loire castles/towns it will take you roughly one hour car drive to get there but on the way you can enjoy the nice countrysite. For us it was the perfect location; quiet and with enough things to see within an hour radius. Thanks very much Nathalie and Nicolas for this very enjoyable stay and hope to be back in a couple of years.
